WorldLink, a program of the Institute of Peace and Justice, provides a sophisticated educational forum where high school students may meet world leaders and experts. It encourages students to explore, develop and articulate their points of view on historical, current, and emerging global issues. Through WorldLink’s innovative and experiential focus on global education, students learn about issues facing us locally and internationally, and engage in thoughtful discussions about solutions in a forum where their voices are heard and valued. WorldLink graduates often go on to become leaders in peace, justice and conservation.

Founded by renowned primatologist Jane Goodall, JGI is a global nonprofit that empowers people to make a difference for all living things. We are creating healthy ecosystems, promoting sustainable livelihoods and nurturing new generations of committed, active citizens around the world. The Roots & Shoots program, an off shoot of The Jane Goodall Institute, is about making positive change happen for our communities, for animals and for the environment. With tens of thousands of young people in almost 100 countries, the Roots & Shoots network connects youth of all ages who share a desire to create a better world. Young people identify problems in their communities and take action. Through service projects, youth-led campaigns and an interactive website, Roots & Shoots members are making a difference across the globe.

The Pachamama Alliance*:
Preservation, Equity and Sustainability

The Pachamama Alliance was born out of a relationship developed between a group of people from the modern world and the leaders of remote indigenous groups in the Amazon region of Ecuador. The Alliance recognizes that indigenous people are the rainforests' natural custodians. The mission is two-fold: to preserve the Earth's tropical rainforests by empowering the indigenous people, and to contribute to the global vision of equity and sustainability for all.
